Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Claims to oversee the
Professional Liability Insurance Claim Management Program.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic oversight of technical claim management
activities and supervise Claim Managers
Analyze historic claim data to identify trends and develop risk
mitigation strategies
Conduct training for Claims Management staff and ensure compliance
with litigation guidelines
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, management sciences, healthcare, or
a related field
Minimum of 10 years of medical professional liability claims
experience, with at least five years in a supervisory role
Advanced knowledge of insurance coverage and claim resolution
processes
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
