John Muir Specialty Medical Group is seeking a general GI physician to join our Bay Area team in highly desirable Walnut Creek, CA. You will be joining a well-respected group of general and therapeutic gastroenterologists in an organization with a long-standing presence and strong reputation in the community, state and nation. U.S. News & World Report has ranked John Muir Medical Center, Walnut Creek as one of the nation s top hospitals for nine straight years.This position begins with a 1 2-year period as a salaried gastroenterologist position with clinic and ambulatory endoscopy and some hospital coverage. The compensation structure then moves to a base salary plus productivity and quality bonuses as well as opportunity to own shares in an independent ASC.Opportunities exist to focus on IBD, motility, hepatology, cancer prevention and care and other subspecialty areas.The group currently consists of 12 MDs and 3 ARNPs, extensive MA and RN support, 100% anesthesia supported procedures in state of the art facilities.John Muir Health is a nationally recognized, not-for-profit health care organization in the East Bay region of San Francisco that offers a full range of medical services and is quickly becoming a regional destination for GI care.
