TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Antioch, California, 94509 About The Position Weekly Pay Range - $2312 To $2569 Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified Experience: 3 years of ICU experience required; Travel experience preferred. License: California RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (all certifications must be American Heart Association certified) Must-Have: - Ability to work every other weekend - On-call availability based on census Job Description: - Hold shift accountability for providing care to Intensive Care patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. - Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the safe delivery of care. - Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education. - Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available. - Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care. - Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, PIRRT, and RRT. - Utilize specific charting experience, with Epic experience preferred. - Ability to comply with travel compliance requirements, including lab work evaluation within 3-5 days of signing. - Valid state license required at the time of submission. - Must adhere to background policy with prior notification of any relevant background hits or DUIs. - Return staff policy requires absence of one year to return as a traveler. - Participate in 16 hours of orientation. 25989439EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
